Support a life at our 2023 Fall Gala

Personal leadership development is needed for EVERYONE – that is Reaching Higher’s cause. 

The skills taught in our personal leadership development courses – public speaking, overcoming limiting beliefs and self-confidence – are skills everyone needs, and yet these are skills that aren’t taught in a traditional classroom.

That is where Reaching Higher comes in – and, our 2023 Fall Gala.

As a non-profit, the majority of our general funding is a result of our annual events, with the gala being the largest contributor. We depend on the funds raised at our gala to support the ongoing efforts to bring a transformative curriculum to everyone. 

We are pleased to announce that Reaching Higher has recently been named a four-star charity through Charity Navigator, a Web site providing, information, data, and research for thousands of charities. Charity Navigator uses financial records and impact reports to rate charities on a four-star scale. You can feel confident your donation to Reaching Higher is used to help the most people possible, with 83 cents of every dollar going directly to our programs. We know you have the same goals as we do – to bring Reaching Higher’s transformative curriculum to everyone.

We want to bring our curriculum to everyone because we see the success it brings to our participants. Young and old alike tout Reaching Higher’s instructors and mentors for bringing them out of their comfort zones and allowing them to be OK with being vulnerable.

This year’s gala will be held Nov. 4 at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, in the heart of Livingston County, where our organization had its start 26 years ago. Throughout the evening, we will celebrate our organization’s successes while we look to the future. We will enjoy dinner and dancing, a live auction, and hear from some of Reaching Higher’s success stories.
