The Second Annual Steven Price Memorial Golf Outing will be held Fri., June 14 at Northville Hills Golf Course, located at 15565 Bay Hill Dr. in Northville. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. A freshly grilled lunch will be provided at the turn, and dinner will be a buffet. If you are only attending the dinner portion, plan on arriving at 2:30 p.m.

Steven Price was a bright young man with a good heart. He brought joy and smiles to everyone who knew him throughout his life. During Steven’s recovery and before his untimely death due to opioids, he cared for those struggling with substance dependencies by offering friendship, guidance and compassion. 

Steven’s father, Gary Price, took Reaching Higher’s adult personal leadership development class after his son’s passing. He was struck by the curriculum, and how it helped him and other participants build confidence, including the kind of confidence to help individuals face potential mental health and substance abuse struggles head-on. Reaching Higher gives both young people and adults the tools to face these struggles positively. 

With the support gained from the 2023 Steven Price Memorial Golf Outing, Reaching Higher launched personal leadership courses for individuals in recovery at Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac and programs through Recovery Advocates in Livingston (RAIL). The courses have been a huge success, and Reaching Higher aims to launch even more courses in 2024.

The Steven Price Memorial Golf Outing and Dinner is quickly approaching, and we want to see you there! All proceeds from this event support Reaching Higher and its mission to bring personal leadership development to individuals in recovery and re-entry.
