Time is running out to sign up your foursome for the 2026 Reaching Higher Golf Outing! All proceeds support Reaching Higher’s curriculum of leadership development. The event will be held Sept. 21 at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Grab your foursome and make some memories on the course, all while supporting area youth to lead successful lives!

Spend the day hitting the beautiful Oak Pointe course with former Detroit baseball star Frank Tanana and former Detroit hockey star Larry Murphy at the 2026 Reaching Higher Golf Outing!
Frank Tanana is a Detroit native who helped lead the city’s baseball team to an American League East title in 1987. He pitched 13 shutouts during his eight seasons with the team. He is a graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School and is in the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame.
Larry Murphy was a star offensive defenseman for the Detroit hockey team during their back-to-back Stanley Cup wins in 1997 and 1998. During his 21-year career with the NHL, he scored 287 goals and had 929 assists. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
